This works best on an empty stomach, taken 15 to 30 minutes before eating. The fullness only lasts around 30 minutes, so time it close to your meal rather than hours ahead. Don't use flavored gelatin packets — they contain added sugar that works against the purpose. This is a small pre-meal habit, not a meal replacement, and it shouldn't be relied on instead of eating.
